PURPOSE:To vary an oscillation frequency by varying the reactance of an oscillation circuit by varying the bias voltage of a varactor diode provided inside of a subordinate transmission line while a main transmission line and the subordinate transmission line are installed. CONSTITUTION:Main transmission line 1 leads out a signal of fundamental frequency f0. Negative diode 2 such as an IMPATT diode and Gunn diode is mounted in main transmission line 1, and its bias is applied from bias terminal 4 through coaxial center conductor 3. Stopping filter 6 of frequency f0 partially constituting an oscillation circuit prevents an oscillation output of the fundamental frequency from leaking to subordinate transmission lines 7 and 7' and terminal 4 of the negative resistance diode. Subordinate transmission lines 7 and 7', shaped and sized so that a signal of frequency f0/n can be transmitted, is coupled with main transmission line 1 via coaxial center conductor 3. Additionally, diode 8 is provided via terminal 9. |
