PURPOSE:To display the own position or a position of an object so as to be easily understandable by placing two optical fiber groups being orthogonal in the vertical and horizontal directions on a frame and providing a light emission diode group on one end of the respective optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:On a frame 31 of a display device, an optical fiber group 32 and 33 are placed in a grating shape so as to be orthogonal to each other. On one end of the optical fiber 32 and 33, respectively, the respective light emission diodes of a light emission diode group 40 and 41 are provided on a substrate 42. Also, on the frame 31, an input key group 34 and a character display part 35 are provided, and in the frame 31, a control circuit 36 is contained. In this state, when a specific light emission diode is brought to light emission by selecting it from two light emission diode groups 40, 41, based on position information which has been detected by a position detecting means, a specific optical fiber is brought to light emission and seen crosswise thereby, therefore, the display becomes clear since it is displayed as an intersection of lines instead of a point. |
