PURPOSE:To enable to obtain very stable oscillation output, by discriminating the direction of excess and operating the step motor until the part of excess can be within the set value, when the control voltage exceeds the initial set value. CONSTITUTION:The center conductor of the cavity resonator of the voltage control oscillator 4 is mechanically changed with the step motor 7, and the oscillated frequency can be tuned in a wide variety. Furhter, the control circuit 10 detects the control voltage of the drive circuit of the step motor 7 and the phase control system. If the control voltage exceeds the initially set range, the direction of excess is discriminated and the motor 7 is operated until the exceeded part is within the initial set, to drive 8 it for the tuning of the oscillator 4. Thus, the production of thermal noise can be reduced to obtain very stable oscillation output. |
