PURPOSE:To prepare the title composition which can be compounded with an anti- fogging agent without reducing the thermal stability, by adding a specific beta-diketone compound to a vinyl chloride resin containing a low-toxic metal soap, an epoxy resin, and an organic phosphite compound. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition composed of (A) 100pts.wt. of a vinyl chloride resin, (B) 0.01-10 parts of an organic acid zinc salt, (C) 0,01-10 parts of the organic acid salts of Ia and/or IIa metals, (D) 0.01-10 parts of an epoxy resin, (E) 0.01-5 parts of an organic phosphite compound (e.g. diphenyldecyl phosphite), (F) 0.001-5 parts of an aromatic beta-diketone compound of formula I (R1, R2 are H, halogen, alkyl, aryl, etc.; R3 is H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, etc.; R4 is H, alkyl, II, etc.) or its metal salt, and (G) 0.01-10 parts of one or more anti-fogging agents. The composition is excellent in weather resistance and plate-out resistance, and suitable for the agricultural use. |
