PURPOSE:To enable a heating component to be impartially and evenly contained and to improve a close adhesion to a substance to be warmed, by containing the heating component, which is heated by oxygen, in a containing substance composed of a waved sheet at least on one side. CONSTITUTION:The formation of the heating element is such that a heating component 2, which is heated by oxygen, is contained in a containing substance composed of waved sheets 1 on both sides or of a waved sheet on one side, the other surface or both surfaces of the containing substance being composed of a porous material 3. A desirable example of the heating component is the one mixed with at least one type selected out of (a) a chemical compound of alkaline metal and (b) a group consisting of silica, alumina, silica almina, and silica magnesia. The mixture, which is simutaneously heated when oxygen is absorbed by bringing it into contact with air or oxygen, is used as the heating component. |
