PURPOSE:To prevent faulty action of a ground clearance regulating device due to mulfunction of a ground clearance sensor by providing two systems of delay circuits and other regulating circuits. CONSTITUTION:A sheilding disk 21 is rotatably fitted on a shaft 22 fixed to the frame 1 of a vehicle. The shielding disk 21 is oscillated through arms 24 and 25 according to the variation of the ground clearance due to rocking motion of the vehicle. Sensors 27 and 28 comprising luminous elements 29 and 30 and photoelectric elements 31 and 32 are fixed to the frame 1. The photoelectric elements 31 and 32 are shielded by the shielding disk 21 from the light of the luminous elements 29 and 30 when the ground clearance of the vehicle is normal. When the ground clearance becomes larger than the normal value, the photoelectric element 31 receives the light emitted from the luminous element 29 and provides a signal which is sent to a delay circuit, then the delay circuit provides a signal after a period of time to open an electromagnetic valve to release the compressed air thus reducing the ground clearance and descending the body of the vehicle. |
