<p>Novel benzimidazole derivatives, useful as anthelmintic agents, have the structure wherein R1 is lower alkyl, phenyl-lower alkyl, halo-lower alkyl, mono lower alkylaminoalkyl, di-lower alkylaminoalkyl and alkyl pyridinium halide, R2 and R3 are the same or different and are selected from hydrogen or lower alkyl, and R4 is cycloalkyl or cycloalkenyl, m is 0 to 3, n is 0 to 3 and m + n is no more than 5, and the physiologically acceptable salts thereof where R1 includes an amino function.</p> |
