PURPOSE:To prevent the inflow of stinking air produced by incomplete comsustion into the interior by interrupting the introduction of the exterior air to the interior unit for a fixed period of time by means of a control device. CONSTITUTION:A fan 10 of an interior unit 4 is controlled to turn in the reverse direction to draw in air through a hot air outlet 9 into the interior and to blow out the interior air through a fresh air inlet for a fixed period of time until a heater 2 reach the complete combustion state after a main switch is switched-on to start the heater 2. After the fixed period of time, the fan motor 29 is controlled to turn in the normal direction to draw in the exterior air in to the interior 3. Accordingly, the inflow of stinking air into the interior 3 is prevented if stinking gas produced by the incomplete combustion of fuel in the heater 2 is discharged in the engine room 1 and stinking gas is discharged into the air through the gap between the hood 7 and the cowl flap 8. |
