PURPOSE:To make thickness of the X-ray detector thin and to impart no shadow on an X-ray film by forming the detector by a semiconductor radiation detecting element, a thin plate like support, a reinforcing member imparting thereto a uniform X-ray absorption factor, an electrode member and the like. CONSTITUTION:A semiconductor radiation detecting element 2C is embedded to be arranged at a suitable position of a support 9 having a thickness almost the same as that of the element 2C. In order to connect the detecting element 2C to a preamplifier 5, signal lead out electrodes 3C and 4C made of a thin alumina foil are arranged on the front and rear surfaces of the support 9. A reinforcing member 10 is provided on the full lower surface of the support 9. By the presence of the reinforcing member 10, the X-ray absorption factor of the detecting element 20 and that of the support 9 are corrected so that they become uniform, and therefore X-rays X0 and X1 passing through respective parts become equivalent, and no shadow is produced on the film. By the above described organization, the thickness of the full part of the detector can be thinned.
