PURPOSE:Filaments textured by friction false twisting are opened, then supplied to the draft zone and cut by stretching, then collected by interlacing to produce readily said spun yarn with high bulkiness, reduced yarn uneveness and high strength and elongation. CONSTITUTION:Filaments textured by friction false twisting are supplied continuously from the false twisting step to yarn opener 2, for example, using high-voltage electrodes, and opened, preferably to 4-15mm width. Then, the opened yarn is supplied to draft zone A, e.g., having apron roll 4 to apply a draft larger than the strength and elongation at break for cutting the filaments. The stretch-broken yarn bundle is interlaced with each other by device 6, e.g., friction disc and the spun yarn Y2 is formed into package 8 with drum 9. |
