PURPOSE:To prepare antibiotics 144e and/or 144g, by incubating microorganisms belonging to the genus Micromonospora. CONSTITUTION:Microorganisms, e.g. Micromonospora sagamiensis SU-2 (FERM-P No.4230), which belong to the genus Micromonospora, and have the ability to produce antibiotics 144e and/or 144g (A), are incubated in a medium by the submerged, preferably spinner culture method, to accumulate A, which are collected. |
