PURPOSE:To control engine in a proper and a stable manner, by sampling output signals given from a detection circuit of hot-wire type air flow sensor, performing arithmetic opration to the sampled output signals, and operating an actuator depending on the result of operation to change the quantity of fuel to be injected. CONSTITUTION:Singals from hot-wire type air flow sensor 12, sensor 13 for detecting the temperature of intake air, water temperature sensor 14, crank angle sensor 16 disposed facing to gear 15 fixed to the crank shaft, pressure sensor 17 disposed in intake pipe 2, sensor 18 for detecting the opening of throttle valve 5 and engine operation detector 19 are afforded to controller 11. In the controller 11, output signals produced from a detection circuit of hot-wire type air flow sensor 12 are sampled by a signal corresponding to the crank phase angle and arithmetic operation is performed on the basis of the sampled signals. Then, an actuator associated with injector 10 is set into operation in response to the output signal obtained by the above operation to change the quantity of fuel to be injected, thus controlling engine operation in a required manner. |
