摘要 A sausage or similar delicatessen prod. comprising a skin stuffed with minced meat etc. A strip or spruce bark is now inserted between the skin and the filling when the sausage is made. The spruce strip pref. extends parallel to the axis of the sausage inside the skin and over at least half the length of the sausage. The spruce pref. extends outside the sausage at one end to form a manipulating handle, suspension, etc. where the strip passes out of the sausage the strip is pref. folded in half, 'V'-fashion, so that the end of the sausage fastens more easily around the strip. The bark confers a distinctive bouquet and unique flavour to the cooked sausage or delicatessen prod. The strip extension can be used to manipulate the prod. while hot without puncturing the skin with a fork. The extension can also serve as a suspension for the prod.
