Pyrotechnic gas generator of short burning time, used as a propellant, has a pyrotechnic charge consisting of washers of solid fuel arranged in parallel. A longitudinal gas exhaust channel towards a nozzle is included. The washers are sepd. by deflectors parallel to them. The deflectors edges near the longitudinal channel overlap the edges of the fuel washers. The edge forms one of two parts of an annular nozzle. The deflectors are solid with the propulsory body and the fuel washers have ribs to set their spacing.
