<p>The gas refrigerator has a refrigeration unit coupled to a connector. While normally powered by a large gas supply bottle or mains gas provision is made for connecting a small gas bottle for transporting the refrigerator. The small bottle is retained in a mounting by a metal strap or collar and connects with the connection through a tap, tube and pressure reducing valve. The mounting is detachably mounted in the refrigerator housing by bayonet or screw fitting of its base into a corresponding fixture. The base of the mounting is provided with one or more ribs, in the manner for example of a wing nut, to facilitate attachment and removal. The mounting itself may be fitted as an accessory to standard refrigerators.</p> |
