Copolymer adhesive of vinyl! acetate grafted with fluorinated olefin - with increased heat stability and solvent resistance

Adhesives consisting of graft copolymers of (A) 100 parts vinyl acetate homo- or copolymer as main chain, and (B) 30-200 parts side chain of fluorinated olefin polymer. Used esp. for bonding vinylidene fluoride resins to olefin resins, e.g. PE and PP, and also as powder coating materials. Good compatibility with both polyvinylidene fluoride and polyolefin resins, giving improved bonding, heat stability and resistance to solvents penetrating the PVDF.
