<p>The locking and synchronising brake is for movement of column type lifting gear. It has a reversible type screw (1) and a nut (2) which is rigidly fixed to a moving runner (3), in upper and lower guide bearings. There is also a brake (6) and a vertical displacement cam (7) and a transmission chain to operate an identical brake (for four column gear). The screw has a square thread, or round or other type and is guided at the bottom by a sleeve (9) and at the top by part (10) of the brake equipment. The brake is a friction cone one.</p> |
