The loader for a clay pigeon launcher with a moving turret has a number of magazines, each containing a pile of clay pigeons. These are fed by turret rotation to an entry for a distributor in a motion synchronised with the launching arm. The transfer assembly is a ram mounted on the intermediate level and having on the end of its rod a transfer head. This is a concave cylindrical segment, of radius equal to the greatest radius of the clay pigeon. The ram is operated by the driving arm.
