The lacquer coating appts. treats wooden components for the furniture making industry. It has two pairs (4, 5) of rollers between which boards (10) are advanced. The upper roller (7, 9) of each pair, together with a smaller roller (22, 28) form reservoirs (23, 29) of lacquer between them. These rollers are mounted on inverted 'U'-shaped frames (21, 30) so that they can be raised and lowered. The lower rollers (6, 8) are mounted on inverted 'T'-shaped frames (13, 14) so that they can be adjusted forwards or backwards horizontally, travelling on slides (15, 16) below. The first upper pair has a scraper blade (25) against the larger roller, and the second upper pair has two scraper blades (31, 32) for the collected lacquer (29).
