<p>PURPOSE:To perform the treatment of water economically by highly efficient high- concentration activated sludge by using a system in which treated water from treatment tank is subjected to a specific gravity separation treatment and then part of activated sludge so separated is concentrated and supplied to the treatment tank. CONSTITUTION:Treated water from the treatment tank 7 is supplied to the sepcific gravity separator 8 to separate it into activated sludge and clean water, and then the clean water is taken out of the discharge parth 9 into the after treatment apparatus 10 and part of the activated sludge is supplied to the centrifugal concentrator 11 and the rest is supplied to the treatment apparatus 12 for self-digestion and incineration. The concentrated activated sludge from the centrifugal concentrator 11 is supplied through the return pipe 4 to the treatment tank 7 by the pump P1, where biological treatment is effectively performed with the high-concentration activated sludge. Thus, the centrifugal concentrator can be miniaturized and also cost can be greatly reduced because only a necessary amount of activated sludge is concentrated.</p> |
