The coupling is intended for connecting sections (1, 9) of an articulated vehicle, consisting of two or more sections, esp for cross-country use. It comprises a ball joint of which the ball (5) is arranged at the end of a bolt (7) upwardly inclined (alpha) relative to the direction of travel (E). The bolt is secured to one vehicle section (9) and the ball head fits in a spherical cup (3) on the other section (1). To equalise the wheel load of a vehicle section with asymmetric load distribution an auxiliary load may be applied to that section. This may be effected by a lift mechanism on that section applying a lift load on a section to which it is coupled.
