Modified tip region for screwdriver - has screwdriver blade enclosed in body with radial guide surfaces enveloping screw head

The screwdriver tip is fitted with a guide device which axially protrudes beyond the tip and has limiting surfaces preventing the slipping out of the tip from the slot of the screw head. The screwdriver tip (1) is fitted in a body (2) which can be attached by its square hole (5) to a shaft of the hand screwdriver or a motorised screwdriver set. The body (2) has a recess with a guide surface (22) having a diameter corresp. with the outside diameter of the screw cylinder head. The edges of the guide surface are chamfered to facilitate slipping on the screwdriver tip onto the screw head. The actual tip of the screwdriver is thicker towards its end to provide a more positive seating inside the screw head slot (31).
