Mixing tube for industrial wastes treatment - with spaced metering points for reagents injected in turbulent flow

A method for the detoxification and neutralisation of industrial wastes, esp. effluents from electroplating with a chromic acid content, is based on a mixing tube which is passed in a turbulent flow. Chemicals are metered into the mixing tube at certain points, followed by a reaction distance. The solids are finally removed at the end of the mixing tube by a separator such as a filter press. This saves the conventional large basins which require space and are expensive to build.
