<p>PURPOSE:To lessen noise, vibration, and power loss by coupling oscillating plate by using an universal joint having an uniform motion so as to impede the turning movement of the oscillating plate. CONSTITUTION:When driving the main shaft 4 by engine, the wedge rotor 8 makes a turning movement concurrently and the movement is transmitted to the oscillating plate 10 provided through the thrust bearing 23 on the inclined side of the wedge rotor 8. Since the outside ring part 12a attached to the center of the oscillating plate 10 is coupled rotatably by the fixed shaft 12c and the ball 13, fixed to the central hole 2b of the cylinder block 2, the turning movement of the outside ring part, although it intends to make a turning movement as the wedge rotor 8 rotates, is impeded because the ball 13 provided in the groove 122a of the outside ring part 12a is clamped between it and the groove 122b of the inside ring part 12b formed at the end of the fixed shaft 2c fixed at the central hole 2b, and an oscillating movement resulting from the turning movement of the inclined surface is produced.</p> |
