PURPOSE:To prepare a wrist watch case by modelling into a specific shape by imparting two types of driving motion to at least a grinding belt and moving the case between two grinding belts. CONSTITUTION:A griding belt driving mechanism 1 comprises a driving mechanism 39 for a grinding belt A using a motor M1 as a driving source, and a driving mechanism 40 for a driving belt B, rendering the belt B into two types of driving motion of continuous rotation and inching rotation using the motor M1 as a driving source. On the other hand, a case driving mechanism 2 includes a case holding device 3, a rotating and profiling mechanism 4 for causing a case to perform a rotating movement and a profiling movement for grinding it in a required outer shape a case reciprocating mechanism 5 for reciprocating the case 9 within the width of the grinding belt, and a mechanism 6 for shifting the case 9 between the grinding belts A and B.
