<p>PURPOSE:To improve cushioning property and adhesion and to enable removal of a fuel tank, by a method wherein a cushioning material is formed with an adhesion layer and a cushioning layer, formed thereon, which are both formed by a thermoplastic composition, and the adhesion layer is brought into contact with the one of the surfaces of a car body and the fuel tank and the cushioning layer with the other surface. CONSTITUTION:A cushioning material is formed with an adhesion layer 1 having an adhesion to a steel plate of at least 15kg/cm<2> and a cushioning layer 2, formed on the adhesion layer and having a compression permanent strain factor of up to 60%, which are both formed by a thermoplastic composition. The adhesion layer 1 is securely adhered to the one of two bodies, and the cushioning layer 2 is brought into contact with the other. As a result, a high cushioning action is provided and stable adhesion is also maintained, and a cushioning material is prevented from slip off due to vibration. When the cushioning material is situated between a car body and a fuel tank, since the adhesion layer 1 is usually adhered to a position on the fuel tank 4 side, the cushioning layer 2 is forced into contact with a portion on the car body side. This constitution enables sharp reduction of adhesion of the cushioning layer 2, prevents firm adhesion of the cushioning layer 2 to the car body, and enables easy removal of the fuel tank 4.</p> |
