PURPOSE:To prevent the falling off of a tool effectively by making a tool locking member operate to an unlocking position using the turning motion of a tool socket and also decelerating the turning speed effectively. CONSTITUTION:While a turning object 28 is turning, an engaging roller 49 engages into the engaging hole 35 of a cam member 34, and the cam member 34 is moved gradually against the resilience of a spring 36 with the turn of the turning object 28. By the motion, a lock pin 33 is displaced with respect to the holding pin 23 of a tool socket 15, but until the turning object 28 reaches near the end of turning, the correspending relation of the holding pin 23 and the lock pin 33 is maintained and a tool 20 is prevented from falling off a tool socket 15. And when the projection 40 of a piston 38 plunges into the small hole 41 of a socket turning cylinder 37, the sliding speed of the piston 38 is decreased gradually and the inertia of the turning object 28 is reduced. |
