PURPOSE:To remove chips stuck to a cutting tool automatically by disposing chip brushing means to face the cutting tool at a position right before the cutting tool contacts a cutting object. CONSTITUTION:When a cutting tool 1 is moved downward, it passes through a soft brush 81, a hard brush 82, and then reaches an object 5 and cutting work is executed. At this time, the cutting tool 1 passes through the soft brush 81 including cutting oil, therefore, cutting oil is applied to the tool, and when cutting work is finished and the cutting tool 1 is moved upward, chips sticked to the cutting tool are removed by the hard brush 82 and cutting oil is applied again by the soft brush 81. By so doing, cutting oil can be applied without loss and a table 3 is not stained by cutting oil. |
