<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a desired length of copy cut, by providing a copy paper cutlength indicator along one side edge of the transparent plate of an original placing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:At start of copying, an original is placed on transparent plate 96 with its edge in the range of size Y of one side edge 398 of plate 96, and original pressing member 98 is covered on the original. As copying proceeds, the light part of the original has been copied and the part of width X of dark part 390 provided on member 98 is exposed to an optical system, resulting in the process that a light detector detects change of reflectivity and a cutter cuts a roll of copying paper in accordance with this signal to a desired length, and thus, a copy having a copied image is obtained.</p> |
