PURPOSE:To simplify the correcting operation as well as enhance both the designing and assembling performance for the electronic watch which features the display by hands and the digital display, by carrying out the correction for both displays via a piece of the setting stem. CONSTITUTION:With pull-out of setting stem 2, clutch wheel 16 shifts to the position of 16a to engage wheel 17 which is unified with cam 18. When stem 2 is turned at that position, the square part engages the square hole to give turns to wheel 16. As a result, wheel 17 and cam 18 turn, and thus cam 18 actuates the switch to perform the correction for digital display 39 such as the date or the like. Then stem 2 is pulled out furthermore, and thus wheel 16 moves to the position of 16b to engage setting wheel 33 to perform the time correction for the index hands. In such way, the correcting operation can be simplified, and at the same time the limitation can be removed for the designing flexibility. And the assembling performance can also be enhanced. |
