Adhesion and corrosion resistance of metal-polyolefin laminates were improved by interposing an oxidized polyethylene(I) primer between the metal and plastic. Thus, degreased steel sheet was coated to 0.3 mm with a mixt. of Phoh-o-cre-sol-HCHO resol 30, bisphenol A epoxy resin(mol. wt. 3000) 60, and oxidized I (mol. wt. 3000, acid no. 16.0, d. 0.93, o content 5.36 % ) 10 parts, baked 10 min at 200≦̸C, and bonded to0.5 mm I(melt index 4,d. 0.927) at 180≦̸C to give a laminate.
