<p>The control system allows a number of items to be powered at different times rather than simultaneously and to spread the electrical load over desired periods of the day. Separate control circuits are associated with individual loads and consist of a solenoid switch (2, 3) controlling the load single phase supply the solenoid being driven from a comparator. The comparator accepts inputs from a temperature sensor (4) attached to the water tank (1) etc. providing a temperature dependent voltage via a presettable circuit (5, 6). The second input is taken from a ramp, generator (8) via a reset-to-zero stone (9) the ramp being a function of the desired temperature-time requirement. The solenoid is driven by a driver (10) fed from the comparator output.</p> |
