The valve uses a diametrically bored spherical obturator (2) which is rotated by a lever (6) on a spindle (4). It includes a seat (8) retaining sleeves (9) which are secured by thermal expansion. A hexagonal section block (1) with a cylindrical bore it cut ot length and provided with a radial wall bore (5). Annular seats (8) and washers (11) are installed on each side of the cock (2). The sleeves are installed when frozen and rises to ambient levels, thus, locking in position in the housing bore.
