The machine includes an inverted U-channel forming a lower bed and is provided with four legs; the flat surface of the channel forms a work table. Alongside the U-channel is an apron formed by a right-angle girder which is mounted on trunnions and fitted with a hand lever. An upper bed also consisting of a right angle girder is mounted on swivels and is employed to hold a metal sheet on the lower bed while the apron is lifted to bend the sheet through any desired angle. The machine also includes a swivel frame fitted with a row of clamping screws so the upper bed can be adjusted to suit sheet metal workpieces of different thickness. |
