<p>Needle bar device for a warp knitting loom has a body with grooves on one of its long sides for the fitment and positioning of needles. The body has a cover plate fixed to it, and a bar fitted between the body and the plate. The bar offers grooves corresponding to those in the body and cooperating with the ends of the needles. The needles may be held or freed by the bar by means of a lengthwise displacement in relation to the body. Needle change or replacement is made quicker and easier by the arrangement of the invention, than on existing equipment. There is no risk of disarranging the remaining needles. Simple needles, without butts or heels may be employed.</p> |
