<p>The synchromesh equipment is particularly for a motor vehicle gearbox. It has a slotted spring synchronising ring subjected to baulk devices increasing its servo effect and mounted between it and the hub of the dog clutch on the gear to be engaged. There is a selector sleeve sliding axially on a support. This sleeve has splines engaging with others on the support. The sleeve (4) has a closed friction surface working against the slotted synchronising ring (16), and the gear to be engaged (2, 3) has guide ribs (6), engaging with the splines of the sleeve.</p> |
