Phenoxy-phenoxypropionic acid derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> (I) wherein R is hydrogen or halogen, and R1 is substituted alkyl, cyclohexenyl, phenylalkenyl or (substituted) alkinyl, are interesting selective herbicides having a special activity against weed grasses. They are obtained for example by reaction of corresponding phenoxypropionic acid halides with hydroxy compounds of the formula HO-R1. |
