Continuous vitreous enamelling plant for tubes - where vertical tubes are carried through circular row of coating, drying and baking stations

The plant has a station (I) where a jig lifts a horizontal tube off a conveyor and travels along a track so the tube is transferred to a vertical position. The tube is then suspended from a trolley which is moved along a single rail conveyor track for passage through a tube coating station; drying station; and a baking station followed by cooling stations. Station (I) contains a track with a horizontal-, inclined- and vertical- section leading to the conveyor trolleys, and the single rail conveyor consists of stationary sections and mobile sections moving vertically with the tubes being treated. The single rail is pref. bent in an incomplete circle and the other stations are pref. arranged round the circle.
