The plastics pipeline mounting and insulation block is in two parts (10, 10'), one of which (10) is shaped to provide a seating (12) for the underside of the pipe(s) (15), the other of which (10') has the same cross-section, inverted, so that it fits over the top of the pipes (15). Between the pipe(s), the half-blocks have flat mating surfaces (16, 16', 17, 17', 18, 18') so that the assembly forms a plain rectangular block. The block halves are made of material with good heat and/or cold insulating properties. The block has hook shapes, permitting suspension on a building well etc.
