<p>An aeration mechanism of liq. in tanks, specially for liq. manure, consists of a lentil-shaped float, pref. made of plastic parts, which floats half above and half below the liq level. In the centre it carries an aerating tube, surmounted by a motor which drives through a vertical shaft an impeller below the outlet. The mixt. of air, froth and liq. which is thus induced to descent in the aerating tube, is directed radially and upward into the mass of the liq. This aeration mechanism is a simple design which is made of long lasting materials. It has a high efficiency and is not more expensive than conventional mechanisms.</p> |
