A guideway (11), connectable to a carrier (2) for the pane (4), combines with this to form a sliding track, with two straight end sections (14, 15) and a middle connecting section (16). A drive unit (27) is coupled so as to move the activating element along the guideway, the element's ends being linked to points on the pane near the straight end sections.
