Conical roller conveyor in woodworking plant - has double line of rollers arranged to engage edges of narrow and wide boards

The conical roller track conveyor is intended for moving objects, such as chipboard plates, from an adhesive applicator station to a foil or veneer applicator station. It comprises a frame (1, 2, 3) supporting two outer longitudinal members (4, 5) each carrying a set of inwardly pointing conical rollers (13, 14). Parallel to and between the members (4, 5) there is at least one inner member (6, 7) with outwardly converging conical rollers (15, 16). Plates of greater width are carried between the roller (13, 14), bridging the rollers (15, 16), whilst narrower plates can be carried between the rollers (13, 15) and (14, 16) respectively. The distance between members (4, 6) and (5, 7) may be adjustable (8, 9, 10).
