The invention relates to a machine for shaping glass objects which comprises organs 32 for distributing portions of molten glass into the individual sections of the machine 31 according to a predetermined timing programme. It also comprises a driving mechanism 36 actuated by an electrical current of a chosen frequency, supplied by a current source. This drives the organ that distributes the glass portions according to a predetermined timing scheme, together with an automatic control organ 38 which is actuated by the timing regulator signals and controls each of the individual sections in a predetermined time sequence. The glass objects are shaped in the next stage, in which the current source produces timing signals at a frequency that is proportional to the chosen frequency of the current source. Each glass object is formed during a machine cycle whose duration is related to the portion- distributing stroke and is typically defined as 360 degrees. The current source comprises a timing pulse generator that synthesizes the timing regulating signals from the frequency of the current source at the frequency required for determining 360 degrees per machine cycle. <IMAGE> |
