A method of reducing deposits from process water in a process water system of a gas generator plant in which organic material is gasified, wherein the process water introduced into said gas generator plant is preheated in a heat exchanger and the process water is temporarily pressurised during passage through the heat exchanger and apparatus which comprises a heat exchanger, a supply pipe for supplying said process water to the heat exchanger, a return pipe, a pressure increasing means arranged in said supply pipe for process water to said heat exchanger, the heat exchanger being arranged to supply heat to the process water. |
