<p>A toy building block set consists of a number of square tiles (1) made of plastic, aluminum or wood. Each tile (1) has a groove (4) running along each edge, the width of the groove (4) being about one third of the tile thickness. The tiles can be joined together with square (2) or triangular (3) joining pieces which fit in the grooves (4) at the corner of each tile. This principle of joining the tiles can be extended to building elements of angle and T section with grooves along the edges of the arms of the sections. These element enable houses and other buildings to be easily constructed using square or triangular joining pieces.</p> |
