<p>In order to provide a barn-floor covering web which, after use over a relatively long period of time and damage to the upper layer (2), exhibits good insulating action and dimensional stability and through the lower layer of which moisture cannot permeate, the compressible lower layer is a mat web (1; 1'; 1'') composed of intersecting filaments which are welded to one another at the points of intersection. Said filaments have a diameter of 0.4 to 2.5 mm. Of the two surfaces (1a; 1b) of the mat web, one surface (1a) is partially embedded in the upper layer (2) which is impermeable to moisture. In order to improve the anti-slip properties and wear strength, a nonwoven (3) composed of synthetic filaments or fibres may be provided on the upper layer (2) which is impermeable to moisture. <IMAGE></p> |
