PURPOSE:To enable a good quality and uniform printing with less energy in a dot printer head using an electromagnet by a method wherein a needle guide for defining a passage of a needle is connected to a yoke of electromagnet. CONSTITUTION:Movable piece 6 in a dot printer head is retracted by a stationary iron core 2 of an electromagnet to apply an axial movement to the needle 7 engaging with one end of the movable piece 6 to perform the printing. Needle guide 10 for defining the passage of the needle 7 is fastened to a yoke 1 of the electromagnet. Needle 7 is biased in a direction indicated by an arrow B by a return spring 8 of which one end is engaged with the spring seat 10a-5 arranged at a part of the needle guide 10. Dispersion is dimension of a gap between the retracted plane of the movable piece 6 in waiting and the retracting plane of the stationary iron core 2 of the electromagnet is made to be small and less variation in speed of the needle 7 is available. |
