<p>An additive for polymers contains (a) is not 1 non-lubricating stabiliser, (b) >=1 lubricating stabiliser, (c) lubricants, and opt. (d) extenders, pigments, etc. The additive contains no adsorbents and/or PVC. The additive is solid at the temp. at which it is used. The additive is esp. used in polymers contg. halogen. Additives contg. adsorbents tend to be voluminous, giving difficulties in use. With additive contg. PVC, the amt. of PVC is about 5 x the amt. of the organo-Sn stabiliser; in addn. for each type of PVC to be treated, the additive must contain the same PVC.</p> |
