PURPOSE:To attain the strict ROI setting compared with a single ROI setting due to a circle and a rectangle by executing the extending or erasing processing of the ROI formed in a prescribed shape beforehand in accordance with the movement of a mark for setting a ROT (concern area) and setting an arbitrary shape ROI. CONSTITUTION:Tracker balls 1a and 1b to input the (x) (y) coordinates and the size of a mark for setting a ROI, and a switch 1c for switching trace mode and the erasing mode are provided on a console panel 1. When the mark for setting the ROI is moved by a tracker ball 1a, the extending or erasing processing of ROI (in initial condition, a circle ROI is obtained) already prepared and displayed in accordance with the movement is executed in a ROI setting processing means 2. Consequently, compared with a single ROI due to the circle and the rectangle, the ROI of the shape suitable for the desired position in a picture for setting the ROI can be set. Thus, the strict setting can be executed compared with the single ROI due to the circle and the rectangle. |
