摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform printing by reducing the number of resistors of a printing head energized at the same time, the total current, and voltage drop by a method wherein a number of exothermic resistors of a thermal printing head is disposed in a figure direction with two rows, and the distance between respective row allows to make a half of the dot pitch in a figure direction. CONSTITUTION:A thermal printing head has a number of exothermic resistors 1-7, energizing the resistors as moving the printing head 9 to a figure direction, thereby the letters are printed by forming the dot on the heat sensitizing record paper. For example, on printing M, firstly the resistors 2, 5, 7 are energized to print the corresponding 102, 105, 107, nextly the head being moved to an arrow direction 11 only a half of the dot pitch, and the resistors 1, 3, 4, 6 are energized to print the corresponding 101, 103, 104, 106 to complete printing of the first longitudinal rod of M. This allows a number of exothermic resistors energized simultaneously to make the maximum of 4 units, that prevents from the generation of printing ununiformity caused by voltage drop.
